the worst experience with online purchase
I have a very bad experience with this company.
The first day when I got my order Nr. P03787846 (2023.01.20) I decided to return it and informed about it Customer service, because my order was marked as undelivered yet and because of this I could not fill the return form. After a week of waiting (and asking every day) for the Customer center to mark my order as “delivered”, 2023.01.27 finally it became possible to fill the return form on their website.
And I called the Shipping company and they said that I must have Return label. But I didn’t get the return label with my order (I made two orders during last month and there were no any labels inside the package of both of them – only an info sheet).
So from the 2023.01.27 till now (2023.02.06) I am still asking to send me the return label for the "free and easy return". I filled the contact form several times, and I emailed the Customer center directly. Nobody answered me.
I began to think maybe it’s easier to leave the goods than ask this company for anything. So I opened the package and took a one more look at the items. And then I noticed a HOLE on the cardigan.
So 2023.02.02 I wrote to the Customer center one more time (by email, by Contact form, by Facebook) and sent photos. NO ANSWER AT ALL.
I really feel ignored by this company. And I am very disappointed with this experience.
So I continue to ask them – send me the return label, take your items back and refund me. Do you really think, that 2 weeks of trying to get an answer is "free and easy return"?
Of course I will apply to the European Consumer Center and I recommend to do it for all customers with negative experience.
About You.com Excellent Refund Policy Experience in comparison to Benetton
Following my bad experience with Benetton Refund Policy in Zurich. I shopped online with About You.com for Turnen/Gymnastics sneakers for my daughter - I made sure to check their return policy because they had a 70% reduction for a limited amount of hours similar to an online auction online.
AboutYou.com website provide an excellent user experience with a clear return policy . I’m pleased to say on Thursday 2 February 2023 I received a pair of Adidas, size 35.5 instead of size 36 ( A size I bought at Benetton that caused drama) ; I paid CHF 26.00. I was so happy to receive my package with their return policy written in large bold letters , stating, I can return the sneakers , as long as they are in the original packaging , packaged professionally in a box with a return slip , that I just had to paste and take the box to the post office.
I’m so delighted with the experience in comparison to an awful treatment from Benetton. Plus, I decided to spend CHF 200 including the Adidas sneakers. About You. Com, like the store name , understand conversion rate optimization and about potential and current customers.
My experience today made me so happy to come back and share a successful online shopping experience .
PS: this store is not a scam because I was offered different payment including with Klarna in Switzerland , where you can pay via ETF before or the end of 30 days after the purchase.
Be aware
Requested return 01/01/23. Goods received by Benetton 11/01/23. Still no money in the accoutn despite multiple contact attempts. No courtesy to reply.
Decided to call as saw response to other comment to sort this way. Lady on the phone advised she can see return being received by company and not sure why this was not processed yet. Promised to get in touuch with the warehouse and resolve. Also said I will receive email with an update. Of course nothing received. This is the last purchase I did with this Company and please be prepared for what others experienced if you decides to do so. I expect now a comment from the Customer Service apologising for this situation and advising to call customer service again but to be honest I am fed up now. I know you had a cyber attack but keeping the customers money with no reason - I think this is against the law. Regards

Dreadful returns process
Dreadful returns process, online form for UPS asks you for info as if from a company, not a consumer, then I email & get one back from customer service saying they would contact me, but nothing after 24hrs, I phone them and they just describe the process as if reading from a script, without even listening to the problem, so then I have to ring UPS . Why can't @Bennetton just use the simple tried, tested and easy returns process as other retailers !? instead of this cost-cutting shambles

Unprofessionals and scams
Order from 16 Jan still in stage of preparation although delivery to Greece is supposed to be in 2 to 5 days. The money transaction has been made. Customer service tells us not to worry but unable to give an update on the status of the order. This is the first and last time I am ordering from this company online.
Unprofessional Company
The "Easy and Free" return isn't easy nor free. I have reached out to them several times via email from their site and I have not heard from them. I believe this company is scamming customers and I will report this company to the government to prevent other customers to be in the same situation. I am shocked that a high end clothing store would put a customer in this situation. They only had ONE form called "RETURNS PROFORMA INVOICE" along with one page how to return simple instructions and with shipping label already enclosed. This company knows what they are doing. They are NOT providing customers with enough information on purpose, so the customers lose money on items they had returned. This is UNETHICAL! I will never buy from them again. They lost a customer for good and based on other reviews here. They are not gaining customers, but rather losing.
Order from 16 Jan 2023 not processed
I placed an order on 16 Jan 2023, expecting the delivery to occur by 23 Jan the latest (2-5 working days as per website and online order confirmation). I called up the customer service on 23 Jan, and after a 25 min wait was able to speak to someone who said that their website had been hacked which is what is causing delays. I requested that my order be cancelled as I had already physically bought stuff from their London store which I needed for my travel, and since my online order had not yet been processed according to the online tracking status, they shodul be able to do so. The customer service agent said he will check and email back. I have also emailed them twice since (via their web portal) but havent heard back anthing! The online tracking still appears as 'being processed' as of this morning (24 Jan). Poor customer service. I wish I had read all the reviews before placing the order!

I placed an order this week and now the website is not working. When is it going to work again and are the orders being placed in this situation or it completely crashed?
Absolutely horrible experience not functiong online store
Absolutely horrible experience. I have tried to do the online purchase several times with different cards which work worldwide but it keeps cancelling my order every time. The customer service is just a JOKE AND INCOMPETENT. They answer you a uselesss message and then never reply back to you again, no one calls, nothing.

Returning two jumpers requires no less…
Returning two jumpers requires no less than 3 long pro forma invoices filled out by customer. Why? Easy? (they say) Hardly.
Customer Care (care? ha!) arranged the collection for me over the phone and emailed me that UPS would collect next day. No collection. Four days later I contacted Benetton by phone ( 10 times) and kept getting cut off after the “welcome” message.
I rang again this morning to be told that they were “off” last Friday whatever that means. (Could they not have amended their welcome message that day?).
It remains to be seen whether discussions with Rep. Sara today will get UPS to collect this week. She sounded weary / irritated and never once apologised on behalf of the company. (By the way, I found the name and email address online, of the CEO in Italy so emailed him but am not expecting to hear back).

Dreadful experience attempting to get a refund for returned items. Benetton are still refusing to refund my money one month after return, stating the items are "non conforming" and are being inspected by quality control and there are delays. I know this to be utter nonsense, as I tried the two jumpers on, repacked and returned them the same day and, of course, they were returned in pristine condition. I have never had this issue with any other company... and I purchase extensively online! I can see that many other customers are being treated like this by Benetton and I am disgusted. Will never buy from Benetton again. Update: I have now made a chargeback claim with my credit card company in order to get my money back. Thank you, Barclaycard for accepting my claim against Benetton! But I am shocked that Benetton still have my money for a returned item and Barclaycard have effectively had to pay for it.

AWFUL! Do not order from this company!!
Do not order from this company! Shocking experience from the very complex returns process which requires having to find a printer and then paying to return despite saying free and easy returns. I had to ring to check. I’ve now had my refund and been deducted £20 despite trying the coat on once and putting it straight back in bag. I am disgusted that I’ve been charged saying it’s not returned in original condition. I can’t believe this company continues to have such an awful process .

bad delivery service
The item never arrived. UPS was in charge for the delivery. We had several messages changing the delivery date (with reference to signature required). One day the item appeared to have been delivered through the letter box (and the signature?). We were at home all day, nobody came and nothing was left in the letter box. We contacted both UPS nobody has replied. We contacted Benetton and they are now investigating the issue. Benetton should perhaps think of changing the delivery company, as clearly UPS cannot be trusted. I am waiting to hear from Benetton and see how they solve the issue. At the moment, the "Christmas present" has not arrived (it is the 27/12) .

Trying to return a polo shirt back to…
Trying to return a polo shirt back to Italy. Have filled in returns notice but told I need to send 3 copies.
Now trying to find a friend with a printer or go to a library and pay for one.
Why is it so complicated to send something back? Great they've sent returns label but hassle finding a printer.
Won't be ordering from them again and by reading reviews wil have to wait ages for a refund.
Not happy.
